- Final Round of Prop 14 awards announced end of November:
Although the HMB library's grant proposal received the highest rating for the third and final round of grants, it was not funded at the end of November. Another $300 million library bond is to be on the state ballot in 2006. If passed by voters, half the money will be allocated to the outstanding grant requests that weren't funded in 2004.
- Prop 14 Awards Announced Oct 28: Unfortunately, HMB did not recieve any funds from the second round of funding.
We will resubmit our application in January.
- Sea Crest Fundraiser: Many thanks to the students at Sea Crest for holding a fundraiser for the new library.
The fundraiser ended September 26, 2003. Sea Crest raised $5,511.26 for the library! Many, many thanks to all involved!
- The Coastside Coupon Book: August 5th the CCFNL launched it's first fundraising project, a coupon book filled with
discount offers from local merchants, restaurants and services throughout the coastside. All proceeds from the sale of the
books will benefit the Half Moon Bay Library.
